Portuguese Boiled Meat & Vegetables Stew

Preparation

1. Wash the meats thoroughly and cook them in a pressure cooker for about 25 minutes. Once cooked, reserve both the meats and the cooking broth.
2. Wash and cut the cabbage and leek into pieces. Peel and halve the potatoes, turnips, carrots, and garlic cloves.
3. Place the vegetables in a large pot and add the pre-cooked meats.
4. Cover halfway with water and complete with the reserved meat broth.
5. Cook covered for about 15 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender and fully cooked.
6. Remove the meats and cut them into serving pieces.
7. Arrange the meats and vegetables on a large serving platter and serve immediately.
8. Serve with white rice cooked in the remaining meat broth.
