- APPLICATION OF TERMS
2.1 These Terms and Conditions (“Contract”) govern the sale and purchase of our products (“Products”) and apply to all online orders. They supersede any conflicting terms you may provide in purchase orders or other documents.
2.2 By placing an order on our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Any variations or representations not expressly agreed to by us in writing shall not apply.
2.3 An order placed by you is considered an offer to purchase Products subject to these Terms and Conditions.
- SERVICE AVAILABILITY
3.1 Our site is only intended for use by people resident in the United Kingdom. We do not accept orders from individuals outside the United Kingdom.
- YOUR STATUS
4.1 By placing an order, you confirm that:
- 4.1.1 You are legally capable of entering into Delicias contracts.
- 4.1.2 You are at least 18 years old.
- 4.1.3 You are a UK resident.
- 4.1.4 You are accessing our site from within the UK.
- 4.1.5 You agree to these Terms and Conditions.
- HOW THE CONTRACT IS FORMED BETWEEN YOU AND US
5.1 Your order constitutes an offer to us to buy a Product. All orders are subject to acceptance by us, and we will only confirm such acceptance to you by sending you an e-mail once your order and payment have been successfully received (the “Order Confirmation”). The Contract will only be formed when we send you the Order Confirmation. The quantity and description of the Products ordered shall be as set out in the Order Confirmation.
- OUR SITE
6.1 If a Product is unavailable, we will contact you with options: replace the item, cancel your order, or wait until the item is back in stock.
6.2 We reserve the right to modify, substitute or remove any information on our site without prior notice. Price, Product information and Product availability are all subject to modification from time to time without prior notice.
6.3 All images and content on our site are owned by Delicias and cannot be used without our written consent.
- CONSUMER RIGHTS
7.1 As a consumer, you may cancel your order within 14 days from receiving the Products for a full refund, as per our refund policy.
7.2 To cancel, you must notify us in writing and return the Products in their original condition, at your cost and risk. You must take reasonable care of the Products while in your possession.
7.3 Your statutory rights are unaffected by these Terms and Conditions, including rights under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 and the Electronic Commerce Regulations 2002.
- AVAILABILITY AND DELIVERY
8.1 Delivery charges:
. Mainland UK: Free transport on orders over £75.00 limited up to 25Kg. (1 box). Please note that the product weight includes not only the item itself, but also product packaging and protective packaging.
Delivery charges based on standard delivery:
UK mainland £8.90 on orders under £75 and limited up to 25kg. (including postcodes AB1 – AB16, AB21 – AB25, AB30, AB39, PA1 – PA19, PH1 – PH3).
. Scottish Highlands: Free transport on orders over £175.00 limited up to 25Kg. (1 box). Please note that the product weight includes not only the item itself, but also product packaging and protective packaging.
Delivery charges based on standard delivery:
Inverness, Kirkwall, Paisley, Kilmarnock, Shetland Islands, Outer Hebrides / 5 working days / £24 on order under £175 and limited up to 25kg.
8.2 Delivery Time
8.2.1 We aim to deliver all orders in UK mainland within 3-5 working days (festive period) as long as your order is placed before 12.00 noon. Our delivery times are a guide only and are not a guarantee. No deliveries Saturdays, Sundays, or Bank Holidays.
8.2.3 We aim to deliver all orders within UK, Channel Islands, Scottish Islands and Isle of Man, within 5 to 7 working days. We cannot take responsibility for length of delivery time once an item is dispatched by a courier company.
8.2.4 We work with an outsourced delivery company, and the courier makes one attempt to deliver the order, then the parcel is taken to the nearest PICKUP shop for the costumer to collect. The recipient has the option to choose to leave with a neighbour or a safe place if they are not going to be home.
8.2.5 If the order is not collected from the PICKUP point, then it will return to us and we reserve the rights to charge the shipping costs again in order to book a new delivery.
8.2.6 If you selected PICK UP STORE, please be aware that your parcel will be there for 5 working days. If you think you might NOT be available to collect your parcel, you MUST let us know in advance to reschedule.
8.3 Christmas Period Orders & Deliveris
8.3.1 During the Christmas period, orders will still be accepted and every effort will be made to deliver prior to Christmas or New Year.
8.3.2 In this busy period, we cannot guarantee specific delivery dates or times and are not able to advise recipients of impending deliveries.
8.3.3 Important dates (No Deliveries)
. 25 December Christmas Day | No Deliveries
. 26 December Boxing Day | No Deliveries
. Monday 1 January New Year’s Day | No Deliveries

8.4 Chilled and Frozen Food Delivery
Orders containing Chilled and Frozen food can only be dispatched Monday to Thursday in order to keep transit time to a minimum. Orders done from Thursday 12PM to Sunday will be dispatched on Monday/ Tuesday depending on demand.
Our standard packaging for chilled and frozen deliveries is a polystyrene box and additional ice. We also send the polystyrene box inside a paper standard box. Some thaw should be expected for this kind of product.
We can not refund or replace any Chilled and Frozen products due to thaw.
8.5 We cannot split orders to multiple addresses.
8.6 If delivery is not accepted or the wrong address is provided, the Products are considered delivered, and you will be responsible for any additional costs (e.g., storage and insurance).
8.7 Delivery dates are estimates, and we are not liable for any delays.
- RISK AND TITLE
9.1 Products are at your risk from the time of delivery.
9.2 Ownership passes to you only after full payment for the Products, including any applicable delivery charges.
- PRICE AND PAYMENT
10.1 The price of any Products will be as quoted on our site from time to time, except in cases of obvious error.
10.2 All prices are in GBP (£), inclusive of VAT, but exclusive of delivery charges.
10.3 Prices may change, but such changes will not affect orders already confirmed via Order Confirmation.
10.4 In the event of an incorrect price, we will contact you for instructions or cancel the order.
10.5 Payments are made via credit, debit card and PayPal. No handling fees will be charged.
Please note that any pricing or promotions available through our Shop Online are exclusive to our online offer and are not available or transferable to the Delicias shop at Vauxhall, Pimlico, Kensal Green and Brandon.
- REFUNDS POLICY
11.1 For damaged Products or packaging must be reported within 24 hours and supported with photographic evidence of the damages. If possible, note “DAMAGED ON RECEIPT” when signing for delivery.
11.2 If you are unhappy with any Product, contact us at info@delicias-uk.com or call 020 3795 6126 (Mon-Fri, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm) for assistance. Refunds will be processed at our discretion.
11.3 If you cancel an order before dispatch, you will receive a full refund, processed within 30 days.
11.4 If you are unhappy with any of your products you must notify us within 14 days of receipt. This does not apply to perishable goods such as cheese, charcuterie and frozen.
- 11.4.1 Please send us an email to info@delicias-uk.com. We will aim to respond to your enquiry or complaint within 7 days to discuss how to proceed. Refunds will be arranged at our discretion.
- 11.4.2 Refunds are given for the Product price and delivery charges. Return shipping costs are your responsibility.
- 11.4.3 For defective Products, we will examine the issue and process a refund (including return shipping costs) if confirmed defective.
11.5 Refunds will be issued using the original payment method.
- LIABILITY
12.1 We warrant that Products are of satisfactory quality and fit for their intended purpose.
12.2 Our total liability is limited to the purchase price of the Product.
- SECURITY AND PRIVACY POLICY
13.1 Payments are processed securely via Tyl by NatWest And PayPal. We do not access your card details.
13.2 Personal information is handled in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

13.4 We do not sell personal data but may share it with third-party service providers to process orders, deliver services, or comply with legal obligations. All third parties are bound by applicable data protection laws.
- WRITTEN COMMUNICATION
14.1 Communication with us will be primarily electronic. By using our site, you agree to receive communications electronically, including contracts, notices, and information.
- TRANSFER OF RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS
15.1 The Contract is binding on you and us, as well as our respective successors.
15.2 You may not transfer your rights or obligations under the Contract without our written consent.
15.3 We may transfer or assign the Contract or any of our rights or obligations.
- FORCE MAJEURE
16.1 We are not liable for failure or delay in performance due to events beyond our control (e.g., strikes, natural disasters, or government restrictions).
16.2 We will suspend performance during a Force Majeure Event and will extend the delivery time accordingly.
- ENTIRE AGREEMENT
17.1 These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the purchase of Products.
- AMENDMENTS TO THESE TERMS
18.1 We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will apply to orders placed after the updated Terms and Conditions are posted on our site.
- LAW AND JURISDICTION
19.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law, and any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
