With an intense garnet colour, notable violet reflections, and a crystalline appearance, this wine transports us to the landscapes of the Dão, revealing the depth of forest notes where humus blends with resin aromas and the power of ripe fruit, blackberry, arando, and blueberry, combined with the exoticism of sweet spices and peppers. The 18-month ageing in French oak barrels imparted silky tannins, making it smooth and velvety without masking the strength of the fruit, creating a powerful and expressive wine representative of the region’s identity.

At the table, it pairs perfectly with regional dishes, game meats, charcuterie, stewed partridge or hare, and earthy mushroom flavours, and has the personality to match conventual desserts and egg-based sweets.
