RED WINE CARM RESERVA

Grapes: We selected grapes of the Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca and Touriga Nacional varieties, all produced on our Estate farms, to create a balanced wine with the firm tannins of Tinta Roriz, the rock rose notes, the soft tannins of Touriga Franca, and the aromas of black fruits and berries and the strong fresh floral notes of Touriga Nacional.

Vinification: The wine is vinified in CARM’s Winery, at Quinta das Marvalhas in Almendra, the heart of Douro Superior.

Tasting Notes: Fresh and elegant, in the nose has notes of berries and black cherries balanced with alluring hints of licorice. The aroma is enhanced by subtle notes of wood. The palate is intense, showing firm tannins with a smooth and very persistent final texture. This wine matches with meats, cheeses and most Mediterranean cuisine. Serve between 15 and 16 º C.

ROSE WINE CARM TOURIGA NACIONAL

Grapes: For CARM Rosé we select Touriga Nacional varietal grapes from our vineyards with Northand East exposures, where the freshness.

Vinification: The wine is vinified in the winery of our Quinta das Marvalhas in Almendra, in the heart of the Douro Superior. Our winery is equipped with the latest technology and enables complete temperature, essential for our region

Tasting Notes Carm: Rosé is endowed with a complex aroma that confers a truly gourmet character to the wine and allows it to accompany all Mediterranean cuisine. The wine’s nose is cool, with red berries and elegant floral and vegetable notes that characterize the varietal. The flavour of this wine is long, fresh and rich on the palate, with balanced acidity.

WHITE WINE CARM RESERVA

GRAPES: The grapes were grown in old vineyards in the Douro Superior and include the varieties Côdega do Larinho, Rabigato and Viosinho.

VINIFICATION: The wine is vinified in the winery of our Quinta das Marvalhas in Almendra, in the heart of the Douro Superior. Our winery is equipped with the latest technology and enables complete control of temperature, essential for our region of extreme climates.

Tasting Notes: a very fresh wine with citrus fruit in harmony with slight floral nuances and strong mineral notes. The mouthfeel is surprising for this type of wine, and it displays a fresh and long finish. This white wine is an ideal accompaniment for all kinds of fish, shellfish, white meat and vegetables. Serve slightly chilled between 8-12º.
