The Tiago Cabaço Vinhas Velhas is crafted from the oldest vines planted in the Estremoz region, where the finest grapes from traditional Alentejo varieties were carefully selected. This wine expresses authenticity, tradition, and the richness of the Alentejo terroir.

Tasting Notes

Deep red in colour. Complex and perfumed on the nose, this wine is structured yet fresh on the palate, with fine, elegant tannins. The finish is well-defined and persistent, leaving a lasting impression.

Winemaking

The harvest progressed smoothly, with extended ripening periods and generally moderate weather conditions throughout the year. All grapes were carefully hand-selected on a sorting table before entering the winery.

Fermentation took place 100% in temperature-controlled stainless steel lagares, where the grapes were traditionally foot crushed. The wine was then aged in French oak barrels before final blending and bottling.

An elegant and expressive red wine, perfect for pairing with red meats, traditional Portuguese dishes, or enjoying on special occasions.
