Casa Ferreirinha Planalto Douro Branco Reserva is a crisp, refreshing white wine crafted from a blend of indigenous grape varieties grown at altitude in the upper reaches of the Douro Valley—Planalto meaning “high plains.” The grapes are hand-harvested and carefully selected to achieve a balance of vibrant flavour and natural freshness. Each variety is vinified separately, then aged in stainless steel tanks for six months before the final blend is assembled. Pale lemon yellow in colour, Planalto offers bright citrus and tropical fruit aromas, complemented by delicate floral notes and a subtle mineral edge. On the palate, it is lively and well-balanced, with fresh acidity supporting the concentrated fruit flavours and leading to a clean, refreshing finish.
