Alheira with scrambled eggs is a delicious and simple Portuguese dish that combines the rich, garlicky flavour of alheira sausage with soft, creamy scrambled eggs. This dish is hearty, flavorful, and perfect for any meal of the day.

Intense flavours that mix typically Portuguese ingredients. To accompany with toast or slices of toasted bread and, of course, a good mood

INGREDIENTS

5 eggs

1 Alheira sausage

½ chopped onion

Chopped parsley

1 clove of minced garlic

2 tablespoons of olive oil

Fine salt to taste

Pepper to taste

PREPARATION METHOD

1. Remove the skin from the alheira and cut it into pieces.

2. Crack the eggs into a bowl.

Season with a little fine salt and pepper.

Finally, add the chopped parsley and beat with a whisk.

3. In a frying pan, heat the oil, onion and garlic.

Stir and let it cook over medium heat until it starts to brown.

4. When sautéing, add the alheira and let it sauté very well over low heat.

After the blond sausage, add the eggs and stir with a spoon constantly.

Keep the heat low so the eggs become creamy.

5. After the eggs are cooked to taste, remove them.

Accompany this recipe with slices of cornbread.

Penne carbonara is a classic culinary dish, known for its simplicity and delicious flavour. Although it’s traditionally made with spaghetti, penne also works great, as its little cylinders help hold the creamy sauce. The dish is quick to prepare and requires few ingredients, but the result is surprisingly rich.

INGREDIENTS

200 g of Milanese penne

200 g chopped bacon

5 minced garlic cloves

½ dl of olive oil

2 dl of parmalat carbonara cream

2dl of Parmalat cream for cooking

150 g freshly grated parmesan

1 small bunch of chopped parsley

Salt and pepper q.s.

3 Eggs

PREPARATION

Saute the bacon in olive oil and add chopped garlic without letting it burn. Mix separately the Parmalat carbonara cream and parmalat cooking cream, eggs, seasonings, chopped parsley and parmesan.

Cook the penne Milaneza in boiling water with a little salt.

When the pasta is cooked and “al dente”, add it to the stew and sauté lightly. Add the cream mixture and, with very low heat, sauté everything (or stir with a fork) until it thickens slightly. Adjust the seasoning and serve immediately.

We suggest you accompany it with a glass of good Portuguese wine!
